Cěský Karaoke

I had a lazy day today. Sent out a bunch of Couchrequests for Bratislava. I’m planning to go there tomorrow an check out the local Couchsurfing community before my flight on Thursday. I also caught up with Jan who’s living in Brno now, who almost convinced me that I should spend next summer there. Apparently rent is cheap over there and it’s less touristy.  I was also thinking of going with Jan to spend a day In Brno, on the way to Bratislava but it may be too much of a rush.

At night, a bunch of us went to sing karaoke at Blind Eye. Most of the people were surprisingly good so I had to wait until I had enough Gambrinus in me before signing up. And of course I chose Bee Gees again – “Night Fever” (“You Should Be Dancing” was not available unfortunately). So just as well that everyone was pretty drunk by that point. After that I tried “I’m Not Crying” by Flight of the Conchords, which was really hard. Especially since I don’t know how to sing.

At the end of the night we parted ways, with me holding up my map while trying to navigate the streets of Prague at 2 in the morning by myself. It’s probably very unsafe to be doing this in any foreign city at night, but I look pretty tough wearing The Beast, so that’s ok.
